This study will evaluate the relative support strengths of the eight alternative systems of select fill materials that are included in the Department's Facilities Development Manual. These include breaker run stone, granular backfill material, pit run sand and gravel, select granular materials, crushed concrete, geogrids, and stabilization with lime, fly ash or cement. |
