This study demonstrated the success of an innovative technique for strengthening reinforced concrete beams (or slabs) by attaching FRP (fiber reinforced polymer) strips to the underside of the beam using powder actuated fasteners and mechanical anchors instead of the traditional method of adhesively bonding the FRP strips. |
