| Project: |
The objective of this study is to investigate different material systems that can be used for fiber reinforced bridge deck forms for short spans (1-4 ft). Then to develop design standards for WisDOT that will be compatible with the Bureau of Structures Bridge Manual. |
| Task List: |
- Form advisory group
- Review of literature and COTS systems
- Selection of fiber reinforced systems for further study
- Tests and analysis of selected fiber reinforced forms
- Design of placement, haunching and tie down details for selected systems
- Economic analysis of selected fiber reinforced form systems
- Development of material/performance specifications for best systems
- Development of design procedures for selected systems
