WHRP now provides quarterly newsletters. The purpose of these newsletters is to provide program updates, feature research and implementation activities, and describe any recent WHRP outreach activities. To access the quarterly newsletters go to http://www.whrpnews.org/

Regional Site Visits

In effort to begin a dialogue with WisDOT on a regional level, WHRP has scheduled site visits to six regional offices. The objectives of these meetings is to raise awareness of the program and discuss opportunities for collaboration. The following is a list of scheduled meetings.

• Southeast Region (Waukesha): February 21
• Northwest Region (Superior): February 27
• Northcentral Region (Rhinelander): March 6
• Southwest Region (Madison): March 28
• Northeast Region (Green Bay): April 3
• Southwest Region (LaCrosse): TBA

WHRP Supports MEPDG Research

WHRP has summarized completed and on-going efforts to support WisDOT’s Implementation of the MEPDG.  This report includes a project List and detailed summary of all 17 efforts by topic area.   Projects summarized include efforts administered by WHRP, MRUTC, WisDOT, and Wisconsin contributions to Pooled Fund Projects. The Frozen Four - Regional Research Collaboration

WHRP is aiding WisDOT in leading a pooled fund focused on organization and collaboration of research efforts. Other states involved include Illinois, Michigan, and Minnesota. The overall goal of the group is to prevent duplication of past research efforts and explore future opportunities for partnering and collaboration.
