WHRP conducts research in four main research areas: Flexible Pavements, Rigid Pavements, Structures, and Geotechnics. Progress reports, final reports and technical briefs for current and completed research projects, as well as implementation projects, may be found on this Web site.
Each of WHRP’s four main research areas is overseen by a multi-partnered Technical Oversight Committee. These committees are composed of representatives from WisDOT, FHWA, academia, industry and consulting engineers. Further details are available on each area’s Web page.
WHRP is also involved in other areas of research, including the Mechanistic-Empirical Pavement Design Guide and data integration.
